Were you able to test drive a Carqon Cruise? We'd be interested in that too, but our dealer doesn't have it in the store. I would refrain from Classic, because the door will probably cause problems at some point.
The Douze G4 also sounds interesting, is the box comparable to the P70 in terms of space for children?
I had a G4 before the P70.
- The box is bigger than the P70. But is is not foam, just a thick polyethylene black plastic. I had the old raincover and it was not great (2018) and the new one appears to be better.
- The seats are better, the belts have magnetic latch (same as cube).
- The bike is way longer (20cm).
- The steering is great and has good turning radius.
- Even in France is very hard to get one, as Paris city is buying all the stock to serve as rental cargo bikes.
- The V2 is also very nice, and it is easier to get one as they have some on stock.
- The brose motor is not as smooth as the bosch, it is less powerful climbing and at full speed it is very "binary" (on/off).
- The stand is hard to set, but it is very stable (not like the P70).
we bought the P70 cause our G4 was stolen. The P70 was better in almost every sense! it was so much attention to details!
I am also interested in the Carqon Cruise, as the classic door I am not a fan. Also the classic is a super heavy bike (60Kg).
Does anyone has a comparison on box sizes from the Load 60 and 75?
